No. The devices are mounted at the monitoring point and configured via the app with an internet connection. The process is simple and guided; in the vast majority of cases no specialized technical knowledge is required.

For large-scale installations or environments with specific structured cabling, our team can support remotely or on site on demand.

Yes. In the event of a power outage or loss of connectivity, the device stores the data internally with the help of a backup battery with up to 20 hours of runtime. As soon as the connection is restored, the records are synchronized automatically with the platform, with no data loss.

💡 The battery keeps monitoring continuous during power outages, which is essential for cold chain and regulatory compliance.

The sensors have an accuracy of ±0.5 °C for temperature. For the data to have legal validity and full metrological traceability, the devices must be accompanied by a calibration certificate issued by an accredited calibration laboratory (ISO/IEC 17025). On request, PLEXOR can point you to an accredited laboratory, or you can engage a laboratory of your choice.

PLEXOR devices come with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, from the date of purchase. The warranty covers electronic and mechanical component failures under normal conditions of use.

It depends on the product line. The PLX-A line (Environmental) devices monitor a single environment per device. The PLX-M line (Mapping) monitors the indoor environment and additionally external process temperatures via PT100 probes, ideal for cold rooms, tanks and surfaces.

PLEXOR devices operate in the range of −10 °C to +50 °C and have an IP40 protection rating, suitable for industrial environments with moderate dust. For applications with exposure to liquids, intense humidity or temperatures outside that range, consult our team to assess the best configuration.

The PLX-M line LT version (Low Temperature) was developed specifically for cold rooms and freezers, operating from −80 °C to +10 °C.

The data reporting interval is plan-dependent (from 5 min), balancing data resolution and network usage.

For critical applications, such as the pharmaceutical cold chain, shorter intervals can be configured depending on the plan.

Yes. PLEXOR uses an OTA (Over-The-Air) update system that lets you update the firmware of the entire fleet remotely, with no physical intervention. You will be notified on the platform when a new version is available.

Yes. You can export raw data directly in CSV format, compatible with Excel, Google Sheets and any data analysis system. In addition, the platform generates PDF reports with the device ID, ready for audits and regulatory presentation.

The REST API and Webhooks are available and enable integration with ERPs and systems such as SAP, Protheus, TOTVS and others. Talk to our team about implementation details and the native-connector roadmap.

Yes. Alerts are fully configurable per user. Each person can set their own notification thresholds and be linked to specific environments and locations. Alerts are sent via email, webhook and REST API; SMS is available as an add-on, with quantities depending on the plan.

Yes. The records are continuous, automatically timestamped and non-editable by users, which makes them adequate to support audits and technical analyses. In a documented real case, a company used the PLEXOR history as support before an external expert to document its operating environment conditions (near industrial furnaces), taking occupational thermal-comfort references (ISO 7730 / heat-stress criteria) as the basis. The interpretation and legal classification are the responsibility of the occupational-safety professional.

💡 For full metrological validity, the device must be calibrated by an accredited laboratory (ISO/IEC 17025).

Yes. PLEXOR continuously monitors temperature and humidity, the variables used to assess workplace thermal comfort (ISO 7730; heat stress via WBGT). The platform lets you configure threshold limits as alert parameters and generates documented records with a continuous history, useful for presentation in audits. The interpretation and legal classification are the responsibility of the occupational-safety professional.

In addition, the PLX-A500 monitors IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) index and eCO₂, supporting indoor air quality monitoring programs.

Yes. PLEXOR records are continuous, automatically timestamped and non-editable, which makes them adequate to support audits and technical analyses. In a concrete case, a company used the platform history as support before an external expert to document its operating environment conditions, taking occupational thermal-comfort references as the basis, used in the defense of a claim regarding temperature conditions. The interpretation and legal classification are the responsibility of the occupational-safety professional.

Yes. The PLEXOR system is designed to support compliance with cold chain temperature monitoring requirements (EU GDP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11), including the generation of continuous records, deviation alerts and traceable reports required for pharmaceutical and food products.

For pharmaceutical cold chain applications, we recommend the PLX-M200 LT (PT100 probe with −80 / +10 °C range) combined with calibration by an accredited laboratory (ISO/IEC 17025).

Yes, provided the device is accompanied by a calibration certificate issued by an accredited calibration laboratory (ISO/IEC 17025, ILAC-MRA). On request, PLEXOR can point you to an accredited laboratory, or you can engage a third-party laboratory. With the certificate, the data have full metrological traceability.

The platform includes calibration management with due-date control and automatic reminders before the deadline expires.

Yes. Occupational risk management requires employers to identify, assess and control workplace risks, including physical risks such as extreme temperature and air quality. PLEXOR provides continuous environmental data that helps support risk management programs, whose preparation is the responsibility of the technical lead, in audits.

Yes. The PLEXOR manufacturing plant holds ISO 9001 certification, which ensures rigorous quality control at every stage of production, from the electronic component to the packaged product. That means batch traceability, component selection and validation, and documented processes that support consistency across manufactured units.
